The MUSS-0500XF is a uniform, adjustable spherical light source specially designed for large-field-of-view cameras. Like ordinary camera calibration light sources, it provides highly uniform luminance output at the opening. With a special design, the camera under test is mounted on a dedicated fixture and shoots toward the inside of the sphere through the output port. Three motorized adjustable irises are installed at the front of the source, allowing the three channels to be adjusted synchronously by software without changing the color temperature. A halogen lamp is used by default; other light sources can be selected to meet different testing requirements.
